Even today, millions of BlackBerry users remained without service on Wednesday as day three of no service began. Frustrations are starting to run high as millions of people who rely on their smartphones for business as well as personal communications were cut off.

Today an official statement was issued by "Research in Motion" maker of the BlackBerry smartphones, "BlackBerry subscribers in the Americas may be experiencing intermittent service delays this morning," They further stated, "We are working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible and we apologize to our customers for any inconvenience. We will provide a further update as soon as more information is available."

According to the company, the service outage now affects people on nearly every continent.
